Mary joined the Saint Bonaventure staff in 1982. For many years Mary was an English teacher and the Faculty Advisor of the very first publication of the Seraph Scrolls. During her time at Saint Bonaventure, Mary coordinated the cheerleaders and songleaders. She was the junior class advisor (assisted in the planning of the ring mass, dances, prom and countless other activities) and initiated "O" period Journalism class in conjunction with the publication of the Seraph Scrolls. She was and still is well-beloved by her students. Even though Mary's tenure at Saint Bonaventure was short, she had an innate way to develop interpersonal relationships. She embodied all that was genuine. She had a way to bring out the best in her students even when others had given up.
Mary left Saint Bonaventure in 1986 and founded SIGNS NOW! of Ventura County. Mary's work can be found all over the county but especially throughout the Saint Bonaventure Campus. Just take a look around the gym and you will see not only her professionalism and commitment to quality work but also her passion, love and support for Saint Bonaventure and all of its endeavors. Mary was an avid Seraph football fan and couldn't wait for the Friday night lights so she could stands cheer on her team.
