Sister Mary Josanne, a beloved Sister of Notre Dame, was a gifted teacher and administrator throughout her entire life, serving in high schools in Cleveland, OH as well as Los Angeles and Ventura Counties: Notre Dame Academy, La Reina High School and St. Bonaventure High School. Sister's first love was mathematics, which inspired her to create the American Mathematics Competition for high school students of the area. Another of Sister Mary Josanne's loves was the Fighting Irish of Notre Dame, something she had acquired in childhood. She enjoyed being with people, working jigsaw puzzles, reading a good mystery and cheering for St. Bonaventure's football team, the Seraphs.

In Memory of James Ryan Delaney IV who attended St. Bonaventure High School from September 1, 1999 to January 24, 2003. Ryan was a 17-year-old senior who was universally cherished for his generosity and joy. He loved golf, computers, music and spending time with his many friends. In memory of Timothy Robert Coultas ('98) who attended Saint Bonaventure High School from September 1994 to June 1998 where he was an All-League baseball and soccer player. He went to California State University at Chico where he earned a Bachelor's degree in Agricultural Science and Liberal Studies in 2002. Tim passed away on Thanksgiving Day, November 27, 2003 in Santa Paula after a tragic car accident. An athlete all his life, Tim enjoyed the outdoors and spent many days fishing the trout streams of the Eastern Sierras. He loved to hunt ducks and upland game. Tim was always up for a game of golf. He was the ultimate sportsman.
Tim was loyal, reliable and had a heart of gold. He was loveable, strong. bright, witty and had droves of friends. There are no words that can describe how much he will be lnissed. This memorial scholarship, awarded on a yearly basis, was set up by Bob and Sandy Coultas and family in memory of Tim, to be awarded to a student-athlete involved in the sport of baseball.
