SBHS offers families the opportunity to apply for financial assistance (also referred to as financial aid) to help with tuition. To be considered for financial assistance, families need to submit a financial assistance application through FACTS. Financial assistance is awarded based on an applicant’s ability to meet Saint Bonaventure’s requirements for admission and the applicant’s demonstrated financial need. Financial assistance awards are made for one year and may be renewed through the application process. However, not all families that apply for assistance will qualify or be awarded assistance. Because Saint Bonaventure receives more applications for assistance than available funds can cover, the school may not be able to supply enough financial assistance to meet a family’s needs. Financial aid awards are communicated to parents who have completed the application process in March of 2022 for the 2022-2023 school year. Please read below for additional opportunities for assistance.
Catholic Education Foundation (CEF)
CEF’s mission is to provide tuition assistance to families meeting specific income parameters. CEF is managed by the Archdiocese of Los Angeles. Current 8th graders receiving CEF funding should apply through their Catholic elementary school. For students not attending a local Catholic school and meet eligibility guidelines, please contact Mr. Frantela for information on how to apply for CEF.
While Saint Bonaventure High School supports and works with CEF, SBHS is not responsible for CEF awards, deadlines, applications, etc.
