Saint Bonaventure High School primarily accepts international students applying for freshman, sophomore, or junior levels (9th, 10th and 11th grades). Occasionally seniors (12th grade) are accepted only after providing sufficient proof of success in an English instructional program for 9th-11th grades (i.e. enrollment in either an international school or another U.S. high school). We welcome all students from all countries around the globe. Most recently, we have had students from Korea, France, Vietnam, Italy and China.
Documents should be sent as pdf files to the International Student Program Director, Mr. Mike Herrera, [email protected]. Questions can be forwarded by email or phone: (805) 648-6836 x107.
Once an application and all support documents have been received, the school will schedule a Skype, Zoom or Google Meets interview with the student. Sometime soon after the interview the school will communicate its decision regarding acceptance.
The process is a little different for students coming from China, students may work with a variety of agencies and they can contact us directly, over the years we have had many students participate in The Cambridge Network. For more information in The Cambrudge Network, please follow the link below. We also can assist with hosting students with Student Homestay.
