The California Scholarship Federation (CSF) at SBHS recognizes student academic achievement through organization membership, scholarly recognition and scholarship opportunities. This statewide organization is available for membership application only 2 times per year. Students qualify for membership on a semester basis, based on their previous semester’s grades. Qualified students tend to earn A’s and B’s in all of their classes. Freshman grades cannot be used to qualify for membership.
Seniors may achieve Life Membership (Sealbearer status at graduation) if they have been a member of CSF for four semesters. One semester of membership must be achieved during senior year. Seniors are recognized at Senior Awards and at Graduation with the awarding of a gold cord.
