Wolfgang brings a wealth of experience and a winning mentality to his role as head coach of the Seraph boys' basketball program at St. Bonaventure. A proud graduate of Santa Margarita Catholic High School, Wolfgang's journey in coaching began with roles as an Assistant Varsity and Head Junior Varsity Coach, where he developed a deep appreciation for the values of teamwork and dedication.

As a standout player at Cal Lutheran University, Wolfgang's collegiate career soared to new heights, earning him recognition on the First Team All-SCIAC and contributing significantly to his team's journey to the conference championship in 2017.

After gaining valuable coaching experience as the Associate Head Coach at Newbury Park, Wolfgang returned to his alma mater, Santa Margarita High School, where he played a pivotal role in guiding the team to a Division 1 CIF Championship. His decision to return was driven by his strong affinity for the Catholic school environment and a desire to make a meaningful impact on the program.

During his tenure with the Seraphs, Wolfgang has consistently elevated the team's performance, guiding them to CIF-SS playoffs in each of his first four seasons. Noteworthy achievements include consecutive CIF Finals appearances, back-to-back 20-win seasons, and earning the Tri-Valley Coach of the Year award twice.

Under Wolfgang's leadership, the team has also secured back-to-back Tri-Valley League championships, consecutive CIF State tournament appearances, and a memorable State Regional Final appearance in 2023. Notably, his tenure has seen the team break numerous school records, including regular season wins (26) and consecutive victories in a row (13).

In 2023, Wolfgang led the team to its first-ever state playoff victory, marking a significant milestone in the program's history.
